In 1904, an American
ex-patriate, Ion Pedecaris was kidnapped by a Moroccan Berber name Raisuni.
Later released, this event became the basis for the movie, The wind and
the Lion. U.S. Marines were sent to guard the U.S. consular officials during
the crisis. |
|
In
the movie, the Marines took part in two a battles, that never really happened.
This does provide plenty of "what if" scenarios. In the alternate history
world of the Red Shadow, the U.S. Marines are ready and willing whenever
adventure calls. |

These
figures are all from the Old Glory Boxer Rebellion range, and in this single
pack of 30 figures, nearly every pose is different. This is a splendid
selection of figures. Using the |
|
Spanish
American war line too, one can also find US Sailors and a Colt Machine
gun, which were also featured in the movie. |
The
majority of the images displayed in the "cast" section were taken on a
Nikon
Coolpix 900 Digital Camera.
Some
of the then were scanned on a flatbed scanner by laying the figure directly
on the glass.
