War of the Spanish Succession

Austria

The flags are typically displayed with both the Colonels (life) color and the Regimental Color. At the beginning of the war, all companies carried the regimental color, except the colonal's company which carried the white colonel's color.

The flags varied in size from 2.1 meters to 3 meters square. The double eagle was embroided on the flag, not painted as many other of the empires flags were.

After 1711, there was only one flag per battalion - the regimental color, with the colonel's battalion carrying both the regimental color and the life color (Leibfahne).
