American Civil War

Flags of the
United States of America

These are examples of Warflag's early style designs. Because of their lower resolution, the details of scripts on the flag sheet can not usually be made out. Of course, this is only really noticeable on 25 mm scale figures when the flag is viewed up close. For use with 15 mm figures, the flags should be printed and photocopy reduced at 62% or scaled down with graphics utility. One of the easiest ways to do this is using Sword. Cut  and paste the flag image into a document, and click and dragged the image to the desired size.

The flags are available in the original CLASSIC style and also the TEXTURED style. There are quite a few more US textured flags available with battle damage. These were made by request for a friend.

In the classic style, the filed colors are plain. These flags can be easily changed using any paint program, including Windows Paint. The textured style are not as easily modified, but their shading gives a more dynamic appearance to the flag.
